| ACCA Cares is the philanthropic arm of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America Central Ohio Chapter. To date, we have given close to $50,000 to charitable projects and programs in the Central Ohio area. Our mission is to encourage and coordinate the efforts of the local HVAC industry professionals through charitable, community-oriented projects that help a diverse group of underprivileged throughout the area. | ||||||

| The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Central Ohio Chapter’s “Hall of Honor” Program was established in 1991 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to HVACR industry and have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, excellence, and responsibility in areas of social concern. Bi-annually, ACCA Central Ohio bestows this honoree(s) upon outstanding community leaders. The Hall of Honor Program is the highlight of the year. It generally triggers local public relations for the chapter, while at the same time enhancing the image of the HVACR industry by highlighting a locally well-known person for their industry and community involvement. | ||||||
| HEAT THE TOWN! | ||||||
| Each year the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) – Central Ohio Chapter and its members volunteer their technicians, trucks and resources to provide heating assistance to less fortunate homeowners in Columbus who could not otherwise afford to have their heating systems cleaned and checked and to have their homes checked for high levels of carbon monoxide Since 2004, close to 500 recipients in Columbus have received the services offered through this program all screened and monitored through the Columbus/Franklin County Community Action Agency (formerly the Weatherization Dept. of CMACAO). | ||||||
